Incomplete Open Cubes

I got nerdsniped by this video by Paul Dancstep. Its about Sol LeWitt’s Variations of Incomplete Open Cubes.

LeWitt wanted to enumerate all incomplete open cubes. Here’s his diagram:

I wanted to see if Science Practice’s logo was one of these Incomplete Open Cubes. It is! The specific cube is this one: 7/19. LeWitt’s numbering system means that this is the 19th variation of the set of incomplete open cubes with 7 edges.

But it doesn’t look like Science Practice’s logo! Thats because it needs to be rotated:

Anyway Paul Dancstep’s video is an amazing visual explanation and well worth your time. Also worth watching is Grant Sanderson’s interview with Paul about the process of making this video and his work in general.
